Identifying and Responding to Elder Abuse

Foundations in Identifying and Responding to Elder Abuse is a 1-day secondary course. This course provides the knowledge and skills for staff to identify and respond appropriately to the needs of clients who are at risk of or exposed to elder abuse.

This course not only equips staff to respond to immediate risk, but intermediate intervention inclusive of client support needs and referral pathways for clients as well as identifying legal and professional boundaries.
