Clare Pope is a Partner in Gilbert + Tobin’s Perth office and has been practising law for more than 20 years, having worked in Perth, London, Tokyo and Singapore predominantly in the areas of energy, resources and energy transition. She is well respected for her strategic and commercial approach, and is recognised as a leader in her area of expertise across a number of legal ranking surveys. In addition, Clare has previously held a non-executive director role for an ASX listed company, and currently holds non-executive director roles at the Australia-Korea Business Corporation; is on the Australia-Japan Co-operation Council’s clean energy committee; is the trustee of the Cottesloe Golf Club Foundation Inc., and the President of the North Cottesloe Primary School Parents & Citizens Association Inc.,. Clare is married to Nick, who runs a local bookstore in Claremont, and has two children, Thomas and Annabel.
