Sarah

Sarah is a survivor of domestic violence and modern slavery. Having grown up in an abusive religious high control group, she advocates for the intersectionality of domestic violence's with other experiences of abuse, such as forced marriage and human trafficking. She is a member of the Survivor Advisory Council to the federal government on matters of modern slavery and recently launched Survivor Connections. Survivor Connections is peer support initiative she founded alongside other survivors, for people who have experienced exploitation.
