Daphne White is a family violence specialist and brings to DART Group over 12 years of experience and expertise through varying roles across the family and domestic violence sector.
Daphne has worked with not for profit organisations within regional Western Australia. Daphne started off her career in family and domestic violence as manager of the Women’s Health Resource Centre in Geraldton. Daphne then went on to work for Blue Connect as the executive manager for operations before her role as Practice Development Specialist for the peak body: The Centre for Women’s Safety and Wellbeing.
During her time at the Centre for Women’s Safety and Wellbeing, Daphne developed and delivered family violence informed training across Western Australia. Daphne’s work included providing best practice consultations to government and non-government organisations in becoming family violence informed. Daphne’s recent highlight has been establishing the men’s behaviour change program for the Midwest through Communicare. This program is a much-needed service within the region.
Daphne is the founder of The Orange Story, which provides research-based best practice digital learning services. As an independent consultant, Daphne continues to provide family domestic and sexual violence informed consultations across the state.
Daphne has completed a Bachelor of Health Promotion and a Post Graduate Diploma in Family and Domestic Violence Practice.
